Make updating visible, not shameful. In conversations where you've shifted your thinking, say so out loud. "I used to think X, but after looking at this I think Y makes more sense." This does two things: it normalizes updating for the people around you, and it rewires your own association between changing your mind and feeling competent rather than embarrassed. Over time, that association sticks.
